How floorcloths
are made

Every floorcloth is a labor of love!

Each floor cloth is hand-painted, so even though the design may be duplicated, each cloth is truly one-of-a-kind!

Sarah starts with raw heavyweight cotton canvas, which is cut and hemmed. The background and design are painted on using durable exterior house paints, and then each rug is sealed using 5 coats of a specialized varnish.

  • Easy care: most cleaning can done simply with a wet sponge and mild detergent

  • Floor cloths have a 15 to 20 year life expectency

  • Protects your floor from moisture and wear

  • Pet-friendly!
