Sarah Minor Design specializes in distinctive hand-painted canvas floor cloths, and printed laminated placemats. Each sophisticated design is individually painted by the artist. Their durable finish ensures lasting beauty that improves over time. Due to the nature of heavy weight cotton material underfoot, one can expect some minute cracking over time. This does not impact the integrity of the rug but instead adds character. "The floor cloth on my porch is the game changer!! It takes an adorable charming beach house and adds flare, joy, brightness and personality. A huge conversation starter, and my favorite touch in my favorite escape!! I couldn't stop at just one, I have 4!"

Mika Brzezinski
Co-host of Morning Joe on MSNBC

Painted canvas floor cloths were fashionable in homes throughout the 1700's to the early 1900's. They were used partly for decoration but mostly for practical reasons since they were easy to sweep, shake and wipe down. Today's floor cloths have added strength and durability due to commercial primers, paints and finishes. They are made of 100% cotton duck and are perfect for kitchens, laundry rooms, foyers or mud rooms.

Each floor cloth is hand-painted, so even though the design may be duplicated, each cloth is truly one-of-a-kind!

  • Easy care: most cleaning can done simply with a wet sponge and mild detergent

  • Floor cloths have a 15 to 20 year life expectency

  • Protects your floor from moisture and wear

  • Pet-friendly!
